The Office of Research Integrity and Assurance (ORIA) will continue to actively support the Mason community during this time of reduced campus operations. All staff will be working remotely except for the animal husbandry team, who will be working in Krasnow Hall and the BRL to provide routine care for Mason’s animal research subjects. IRB, IACUC, COI and other committee meetings will be held via remote hosting (WebEx or similar). Instead of office hours, the teams will hold remote discussions by appointment.

- Animal Care Resources has implemented its continuity of operations plan to ensure that essential animal husbandry services are maintained. We have stockpiled supplies to help ensure animal husbandry and technician safety.

- Submissions of animal research protocols will continue to be through IRBNet, using Mason’s normal processes. The IACUC office and board will continue to review and process protocols while working remotely. Office hours will be by appointment made via email.
