IRB Meeting Schedule
Upon receipt of your application, the IRB will determine level of review. Most reviews are exempt or expedited, i.e., reviewed in-office, on an ongoing basis, by IRB reviewers. Those proposals that do not meet expedited criteria will be reviewed by the full board on the dates listed below. These studies are assigned to an agenda once all required information is received.
A study requiring review by the full IRB at a convened meeting will be assigned to the first available meeting after the IRB staff confirms that the study is complete and ready to be shared with IRB members. This entails a thorough and comprehensive preliminary review of the submission. Please note that the study will need to be complete and ready to be shared with Board members at least one week before the upcoming scheduled meeting. The IRB coordinator assigned will inform the study team if your submission will be reviewed at the convened IRB meeting. The requirements for a complete application are outlined in the protocol instruction form.
Incomplete submissions may delay the scheduling of your protocol for review by the Institutional Review Board.
